Dr. Ạlhemyem meets Sheikhs of the council of scientists of Iraq
The President of Iraqi Sunni Endowment Dr. Abdul Latif Ạlhemyem, met with sheikhs and members of the council of scientists of Iraq headed by Sheikh Munir Al-Obidi and in the presence of the director-General of religious and charitable institutions Dr. Amer Janabi on Thursday, 2018/5/3.
During the meeting, the council’s working mechanism was discussed and its role in the preparing of moderates Imam and its development on the curriculum of moderation and mediation.
Dr. Ạlhemyem also stressed the need to consolidate religious discourse, emphasize the unity of the country and the people of the country, and not allow terrorism and extreme thinking to destroy cities, kill their people and control their capacities in the name of religion
Scientists and imams also thanks Dr. Ạlhemyem for his efforts and support for the service of the Islamic religion, and the fight against terrorism.
