The Engineering Directorate is evaluating the direct celebration with the work of rehabilitating and consolidating the minaret of Al khulafa’a in Baghdad.
Sponsored and attended by Sheikh Dr. Abdul Latif Al Heymem the department of engineering was directly involved in the work of rehabilitating and consolidating the minaret of the collector mosque in Baghdad on Thursday,
at the beginning to celebrate any of the wise male followed by the word of Dr.Abdul latif Al Heymem , he said, ” I thank everyone who has supported the preparation of a plan to bring back the successor of the Al Kulafa’a to its predecessor. Here is the genius of history. An angle in this mosque tells the story of a nation and a people, as this minaret extends over 900 years.
It was a real battle to preserve the Arab and Muslim heritage in a country representing two thirds of the civilization of the Islamic Ummah.
By saying, ” this minaret is a secretariat in the neck of this generation and other generations to preserve it, calling on the action team to work as quickly as possible to stop the curvature of the minaret
The Director-General of the engineering department, professor morning, said in his word: we meet today here, where history with all its beauty, candles, and creativity is hard for us, and today we are celebrating the start of work to address the minaret of Caliphs, where Constant Tilt problem.
He then submitted a detailed report on stages of treatment in cooperation with Dr. Heydar characterized, who ensured that examination and study were conducted, and supported by the secretariat of the council of ministers, UNESCO, the capital secretariat and the impact service for the implementation
To that, Dr. Haider characterized, Dr.Al Heymem , thanked him for his great interest in, and preservation of, Iraqi heritage, emphasizing that work took place in one team spirit to save and preserve the minaret.
