The Sunni Endowment Office in cooperation with the High Commission for Hajj and Umrah holds the annual indicative conference this year 1440 Ah -2019
Sponsored and presence of Dr. Abdul Latif Al-Hemyam and Chairman of the Hajj and Umrah Commission Sheikh Khalid Al-Attiyah, the Department of Religious Guidance and Research in cooperation with the High Commission for Hajj and Umrah held the annual conference of religious guidance for guides and guides in Um al-Qura site in Baghdad, Monday, July 15, 2019.
Where the conference began to recite verses of Holy Quran followed by the speech of Dr. Al-Hemy am, in which he welcomed the honourable attendees, saying: “Starting with my great thanks and gratitude for the outstanding services provided by hajj and umrah in the past seasons to pilgrims and the organization of all procedures starting with the organization of the lottery, And ending with the arrival of the pilgrim at his home.
He added: We are required at the level of religious guidance to adjust the strategic objectives of hajj and one of these objectives is to go to ease and make it easy for pilgrims to maintain the purposes of the Sharia and its interpretations, and to put the basic rule (do and nothing wrong) to ease and make it easy for pilgrims and not to go to stress
Sheikh Khalid al-Attiyah said: I am pleased to be in this blessed meeting, which brings me together with the guides and guides who will be well-wished to serve the pilgrims and to carry out the religious and national duty.
He added: Our work in the Hajj and Umrah Authority and the work of the Sunni Waqf Office in the service of hajj begin from the beginning of the year and all these preparations have been completed and we are now on beginning of this year’s hajj season. The true description of these acts depends on the result that the pilgrims of Makka will receive from performing their Manasik.
Then the speech of the guides and guides delivered on their behalf by Sheikh Abdullah al-Kubaisi, in which he explained that the role of the guide is to serve the guests of Rahman in word and deed. He is a good example who works to communicate the correct information to the pilgrims. He pointed out the great role played by the guides and guides in the unity of the class and the word as ambassadors of our dear country in the Holy Land.
Sheikh Abdullah al-Kubaisi also thanked Dr. Al-Hemyam and the head of the Hajj and Umrah commission for their great work in service to pilgrims inside Iraq and in Makka
At the end of the conference, Dr. Al-Hemyam presented a copy of Holy Quran of our Diwan to Chairman of the Hajj and Umrah commission and the distinguished guests.
The conference was attended by Dr. Radhi Al Husseini, Dr. Radhi Al-Husseini, Under-Head of the Diwan for Religious and Cultural Affairs, Dr. Saad Kambash, Director General of the Department of Religious and Charitable Institutions, Dr. Amer Al-Janabi, and Assistant Director General of the Guidance Department of the commission for Hajj and Umrah. Mr. Walid Kazim, and a number of sheikhs, distinguished scholars, guides and guides.
