The Supreme Waqf Council holds its regular meeting and discusses a number of projects

The Supreme Waqf Council held its regular meeting chaired by Sheikh Al-Alama Dr Abdul Latif Al-Hemyam, in the presence of administrative and religious deputies and all members at the Diwan headquarters on Wednesday, July 24, 2019.

During the meeting, a number of topics related to the development of work in the diwan departments were discussed, as well as the role of waqf in the fields of science, construction, and other projects concerning the interest of the poor and needy.

Dr Al-Hemyam thanked the general managers for their cooperation in working in a team spirit to overcome the obstacles that can limit the progress of the work, as well as the presentation of the assembled gentlemen proposals that would promote the employees of the Diwan.

In addition, the Council voted on the projects on the agenda and the transfer of some projects to the upcoming meetings.
