Al-Hemyam during his sponsorship of the first cultural forum in Nineveh

Under the auspices of the Head of the Sunni Endowment, Sheikh Dr. Abdul Latif Al-Hemyam, the Institute of (Waee) for Consultancy and Capacity Building held the first cultural forum under the slogan “From the village of the good man Younis bin Miti”, to discuss the reconstruction of the Mosque of the Prophet Yunus (PB).”
The forum was held under the title “The Shrine of the Prophet Yunus, the fragrance of civilization and the extension of history”, and in the presence of a constellation of Nineveh scholars, historians and intellectuals, in order to build a future vision on the reconstruction of the Mosque of the Prophet Younis (peace be upon him).
Sheikh Al-Hemyam said during a speech: “We have been torn apart by wars and torn by longitudes and satellite dishes, explaining that we are fighting for the pardon of history,” adding: “We are a nation that lives today in its worst historical moments, which are even worse than the fall of Baghdad at the hands of the Mongols in 656H, and he continued: “It is better for the nation to Build a bridge of hope on a river of despair,” he added, adding:
“The Mosque of the Prophet Yunus (pb)’s mosque is not only a shrine, but also a memory of an important city that has made its history and glory in Iraq and the nation from an early age.”

For his part, the head of the Sunni Endowment Office thanked the head of the Sunni Endowment Dewan for his noble positions in the service of the people of Nineveh, as well as the great role and active follow-up to the reconstruction of mosques and heritage sites destroyed by abominable terrorism.
