Dr. Abdul latif Al Hemyem visits Al- Azhar University and meets the head of the university to discuss common subjects
Within official visit of the president of the Iraqi Sunni Endowment Dr. Abdul latif Al Hemyem, he visited Al- Azhar University and met the head of the university Dr. Ahmed Hussani on Monday 27/2/2017.
Dr. Al Hemyem met the head of Al- Azhar University and discussed with him the possibility of the participation of Al- Azhar University in rewrite the curriculums of Al Imam Al Adahm University and religious study as well as increasing the places for the students of Diwan and using Al-Azhar library to rebuild index of manuscripts and documents in Diwan and taking advantage from the commission of community reconciliation in Al-Azhar as well as opening Al-Azhar institutions in Iraq.
the head of Al- Azhar University announced his ability to cooperate with Iraqi Sunni Diwan and gave it some places for its students in the university, confirming on mutual relations between the university and Diwan.
After that Dr. Al Hemyem visited the World Association for Al-Azhar Graduates and he was received by the deputy of the Board of Directors Mr. Usama Yassen and the former Minister of Awqaf Dr. Muhammad Abdul Al Fadeel , and they agreed on opening Association for Al-Azhar Graduates in Iraq, praising the step of choosing Mashykhat Al Maqar’a.
