Dr. Al-Hemyem : ‘’ what has been said in media is untrue and the aim from doing that obstacles the reforming steps and the achievement of Endowment (Diwan)’’
Dr. Abdul latif Al-Hememy participated in the first forum for Imams and Khatebs of Awqaf Baghdad Al-Kharakh which held at Sheikh Abdul Khader Al-Ani hall in Endowment (Diwan) on Monday 17/4/2017.
Dr. Al-Hemyem meets Imams and Khatebs in the forum showing that what has been said in media is untrue and the aim from doing thato bstacles the reforming steps and the achievement of Endowment (Diwan) and we have documents which prove these facts, and he ongoing saying that ‘’ since I take the presidency of the Endowment (Diwan) it was passed in difficult situations and I made the first conference for Imams and attended more than 3000 Imam , that conference represented the first shout against Terrorism , Extremism and ISIS’’.
He added that; there were more than three million displaced people who lives in camps and It was my legal and moral duty to help them and I worked for days and hours to help them as well as working on returning thousands of our people to Yathrib despite all the political and Social stresses as well as returning the people of Al-Anbar, Al-Karma and Al-Khaldya.
He also said that we had achieved many accomplishments on the level of Diwan which Iraq didn’t witness since more than 12000 years by establishing Mashuakhit Al-Maqara’a Al-Iraqia as well as making manuscriptions Centre which considered the biggest in the Middle East besides the museum of our prophet biography which became like the other museums in the other countries, also we work on preserving masjids and there were lots of cases which we win to return Awqaf lands again.
From their sides, Imams and Khatebs assured that all the achievements of Dr. Abdul latif h-Hemyem are irreproachable and they showed that the main obstacles that face them like delaying promotion and lacking of masjeds properties.
Dr.Abdul latif Al-Hemyem directed to remove all the obstacles that face them; confirming that there is a campaign to rehabilitate all masjeds (mosques) in Baghdad.
