Awaqf Supreme Council praises the achievements of the Iraqi Sunni Endowment with Sheikhs of Al-Azhar

Headed by Dr. Al-Hemyem Awaqf Supreme Council praises the achievements of the Iraqi Sunni Endowment with Sheikhs of Al-Azhar

Awqaf Council hold its six ordinary session for this year with the presence of all its members and headed by Dr. Al-Hemyem in Diwan on Monday 31/7/2017.

They discuss in the meeting the historical scholarship that the Sheikhs of Al-Azhar gave to Diwan as well as discussing Diwan acceptance for more than 700 students for studies which considered one of the most important issues.

They also discuss the cooperation with UNISCO in the field of inscriptions and rebuilding the minaret and mosque of prophet Younis and the minaret of Al-Noori mosque , they vote in the meeting to work on the scholarships and the cooperiation with  UNISCO in the field of inscriptions.
