Dr. Al-Hemyem and the head of UNISCO in Iraq put the plans of cooperation to rebuild prophet Younis minaret and mosque

Dr. Al-Hemyem met the head of UNISCO in Iraq Mrs. Luizea Kisthosien at his office in Diwan on Sunday 30/7/2017.

During the meeting they put the plans of cooperation to rebuild prophet Younis shrine and minaret of Al-Noori mosque in Mosul as well as protecting the Iraqi monuments which destroyed by ISIS especially in the liberated cities.

Dr. Al-Hemyem to the head of UNSCO ‘’ prophet Younis shrine and minaret of Al-Noori mosque considered one of the most important Iraqi monuments for all Iraqi people, showing his completely readiness to cooperate with them as soon possible’’.

Mrs. Luizea Kisthosien said: ‘’ UNISCO is concern with Iraq monuments and there is huge cooperation with the Iraqi Sunni Endowments for rebuilding prophet Younis shrine and minaret of Al-Noori mosque’’.

She added, there is concern with the archeological mosques in Baghdad and other governorates  and the organization work on protect it and  there is a lot of archeological places that joined to national heritage.
